The need for guaranteed social and labour compliance clauses in public contracts: An approach to the Spanish case

The work provides the contributions of an empirical study recently carried out by University Valencia (Spain) in collaboration with Generalitat Valenciana (Regional Government). is mainly based on a qualitative methodology using in-depth interviews open to experts field (specifically 13) and presentations renowned speakers at 12th Economy Week Alzira (Valencia), which content analysis was applied. Based results obtained multidisciplinary academic literature (labour relations, sociology, public administration social responsibility), debate concerns feasibility administrations establishing, among their contracts for procurement works, services supplies, some clauses that seek ensure legal compliance socio-labour matters subcontracted companies workers. This question raises new vision topic current relevance clear commitment improvement health organisations would also affect labour relations.
